Ashe Construction Ltd
Ashe Construction Ltd operates from four offices based in Hertfordshire, Warwickshire, Derbyshire and Oxfordshire. Projects undertaken stretch from Leeds in the north to Kent in the south, and from Essex in the east to Worcester in the west. Turnover at Ashe Construction Ltd was £26million in 2009 with a projected turnover for 2010 of £35million.
The Board
The Ashe board consists of seven directors bringing experience from across all the construction disciplines to provide an effective managment team. Their average age is 45 which means there is passion, drive and enthusiasm to build a company for the future. However, with a combined total of a hundred Ashe years between them, they are mindful of the tried and tested traditions that have made the construction industry what it is today.

Robert Blake,
Chairman
Bob initially trained as a quantity surveyor working with a number of companies both at home and abroad before becoming managing director of a regional contracting company. In 1972 Bob went into partnership with Melvyn Branch to start their own contracting company known today as Ashe Group Holdings Ltd. |

Robin Blake,
Managing Director
Robin got a taste for how other countries operate by working for French and Danish companies in civil engineering until his return to the UK in 1998 when he joined Ashe, the family business as a site manager. He was a surveyor and deputy managing director before taking up the post of managing director in August 2005. |

Andrew Morris,
Commercial Director
Andrew joined Ashe Construction Ltd in 1989 as a contract surveyor. In 1997 he was promoted to marketing manager and in 1999 was appointed commercial director. Responsible for sales and marketing operations Andrew’s knowledge and understanding of the construction process is invaluable in securing new contracts. |

Richard Clay,
Finance Director
Richard joined Ashe Construction Ltd in 1988 as a contract surveyor. In 1999 he was appointed surveying director and in January 2005 became finance director. Working closely with the finance team his knowledge of the industry ensures all aspects of the company's financial matters are well under control. |

Martin Petts,
Contracts Director
Martin joined Ashe in 1990 as an assistant site manager before being promoted in 1992 to site manager and then in 1995 to project manager. In this time Martin constructed prestigious schemes across all industry sectors including homes, motor dealerships, sporting facilities and education facilities. In 2001 he was promoted to contracts manager and in 2004 to contract director. |

Chris Beard,
Surveying Director
Chris joined Ashe in 2000 as a contract surveyor. Proving himself to be an invaluable member of the Ashe team, in 2003 was appointed chief surveyor. In 2005 he joined the board of Ashe Construction as surveying director. His reputation with all partners for being fair and reasonable ensures the successful completion of projects for all parties. |

Alistair Yule,
Design Director
Alistair’s experience as a design & build co-ordinator spans some 24 years. He joined Ashe in 1999 as a design & build co-ordinator. The directors of Ashe soon realised his potential and appointed him chief design & build co-ordinator in 2000. In 2003 he was appointed design manager before becoming design director in 2005. |
